He can be great at some moments. On a regular basis. I grabbed my sweater and ran out the door. I was walking through the ravine. I stopped to look around. The smell in the air was a sweet scent. Fall was going to come soon. I finally got to school. Packed with kids; Coming in for their first day too. I got my schedule. I thought we were going into class today but it ended at 10 o’clock. So, I left. When I started walked. I saw a huge group of older students. They all had a cigarette in their hands. They seemed like the cool people at Danforth tech. I walked passed them. They smelled like cigarettes. Sitting on the train; thinking about those kids. The way they dressed. It was a style I never seen before.

“Sarah, you home?”

“Yes, dad I am home.”

“Well are going to babysit tonight?”

“I don’t know.”

“What do you mean, you don’t know?”

“I just don’t know.”

“So, you just don’t know anything no more?”

“I guess so.”

I ran upstairs before he could say anything that would make me cry. So, I took a shower. Brushed my teeth, and then went to bed. Second day at school. Kind of went by slow. I met a couple of people. They seem cool. In French class it was pretty boring since I already knew all of it. My teacher seemed really nice. Danforth tech is a really old school. My mom even went there. When was the last time I saw her. Last time I could remember is when my mom and I got into a huge feud. Which I had no choice; but to go live with my dad. It was the end of near the end of grade eight. My mom and I had a fight. I would steal money from her. Just so I could actually be like the other kids in my school. The always had money to buy lunch and I was always the one everyone thought I was poor. I was the unusual one at school. I had not that many friends. Devon, she was the only best friend I had. Earl grey, Were I went in grade eight. That year was a blur. I was so different. I remember that summer. I grew up. I started to grow boobs. I dyed my hair Blonde. I had more excitement for life. (not finshed)

Chapter One Are we frightened by our emotions? Do we run away from love?
